dcpro wont run

was wondering what the fix for getting dcpro to launch ,when i clik icon to launch program the gif for dcpro opens for a sec then goes away I figure that it's something fairly simple but don't know what,also might add that i have turned off AVP and checked to see if i have program blocking the exe. but cant find any,also have reinstalled dcpro and that makes no difference.Any ideas?

Can you tell me what os do you have? What you can do is try to reinstall the VB6 runtime drivers http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en and see if that helps.

thanks for quick response the os is xp pro and tried to install the vb6 and no luck getting that installed

did you run any tools that decrease the size of xp? i mean those tools that remove unneeded files from xp?

does that vb6 runtime install give any error message or message from why it can't install?
