Cab Cleaner won't remove ATI drivers

I've gone through the process numerous times and followed the directions completely (Disconnected the internet [Unplugged my modem and router], a/r programs, safe mode, my computer, no antivirus]). After running Cab cleaner I ran a search for ATI in the windows folder. There is still the full list of ati drivers in Driver.cab and sp2.cab. Obviously the very old drivers always reinstall after a reboot into the regular mode. Oh and also it is the latest version of Driver Cleaner Pro.

Here is a full list of my computer's specifications. To summarize it's a Windows media center PC, sp2, ati x300.

Thank you very much for any help!

Can you tell me exactly where those cab files are located in what directories?

Sure, thanks for responding Spike.

C:\WINDOWS\I386\DRIVER.CAB

C:\WINDOWS\I386\SP2.CAB

I'm sorry I have to get some sleep. I'll be on later

Hey Spike. Thank you very much for helping, the cab files are clean! This is the strange part, not one ati file exists on my entire hard drive but some how the old 2004 drivers install themselves. I have no idea how that's possible, the internet was disconnected...any ideas? There is another drive HP_RECOVERY (D)...but it's locked. It does act as a recovery drive which is reserved for when windows starts by pressing f10. I don't think windows would go into it and get the ati drivers.

Hey Spike. Yeah I can only search the Windows drive because the HP one is completely locked. But like I said I don't really think Windows would go into it and get the drivers...

Also if you don't mind my asking, I used this program called SiSoftware Sandra, and it says, "Video BIOS is more than three years old. If the video adapter has a flash video BIOS, check whether an update is available and install it. You may gain extra performance or bug fixes." How do I update the Video BIOS?

Do you find any ati files on the windows drive and if so where?

about updating the videocard bios. You need to go to the site of the manufacturer and see if they released any. If they did they also included the tool and how to do it, because it is not the same by the makers. But most times you don't find any new bios files, because the makers don't release them unless there is something wrong with the bios or when there is a really good improvement.
