please help

i used driver cleaner pro to try to clean out any left over clutter from my gef4ti4200 nvivdia

i had all ready installed my new x 700 pro
after cleaning out the files left by nvivdia i restarted as it asked
\now windows will not finish loading all i have is a black screen after the flying window xp load up screen in which the next would be to log in it stuck some where between load xp and log in

my system is a dell 8250 p4 2.4ghz

xp home
512 mb pc 1066 rd ram
x700 pro ati
sound blaster live 5.1

Did you follow the steps in the readme?

What motherboard do you have and what filters did you select.

I'm getting used to ALWAYS trapping the after-install reboot with F8 and selecting "Enable VGA mode" as the drivers have a habit of restarting in a mode my LCD cannot use - this may be the same reason you have a black screen.

After getting the system up in low res, it's always been a case of setting the right mode and then all ok.

Otherwise, I see the windows logo, the bar moving, and then just at the point where it blanks and switches to desktop resolution - monitor displays "Unsupported mode" and then blanks, while the HD activity continues as Windows carries on booting up - invisibly.
