winfast px6600gt

I currently have a winfast px6600gt graphix card and windows xp home in my system with the leadtek drivers installed. Just have a few questions after downloading driver cleaner pro
1. Will driver cleaner remove these drivers?
2. Should i be using Nividia Drivers instead, if so which is the best one to use?
3. After removing the driver and starting up in safe mode windows auto detects the card and installs a nividia driver when i try to remove it windows says unable to uninstall as device mayde needed for booting. what do i do about this?
As i am fairly new to this any other suggestions would be appreciated

Hi,

1. Yes Driver Cleaner can also remove those drivers.

2. I think that leadtek also updates their drivers, but to be sure you better ask this question in the nvidia forum.

3. Do you have Service Pack 2 installed? If not then install that, because then windows will ask what to do and you can cancel that. What you can do is reboot into safemode and navigate to device manager->display adapters->highlight nVidia and click uninstall or remove but don't reboot, then run Driver Cleaner and reboot.
