I like the mid-development of the synth lead to about the last quarter of the composition - overall interesting and the subtle changes in the "brush" percussion sounds is interesting too.
Maybe you could consider bringing a "clear sounding" lead synth back at the end and fading it out too? I realize it might detract from the symmetry of the work as a whole, but from a listening standpoint it might be more satisfying...
