depends on the type of rig - the one you're talking about uses timecoded vinyl... I don;t have that, just a control surface & laptop

you'd like the timecoded vinyl? (i didn't have the exact terminology for it at the time but that sounds right)

I've gotten to play with them, they are very intriguing and the software and hookups work amazingly well under vista x64
