You want to be listened to but you are deaf as a doornail,
I write a page for you plain as day
but when the mail reaches your face
the page and paper and writings are plain
Not a word was heard, nor a letter delivered
Thinking you know, oh lord my god
seeing all and hearing all
we are defined by what we define
and see only as far as our eyes
blind as a bat
dead as a tree
wisdom lost, owls foxes animals three
lost in the terms that I meant two
But stuck ,stuck ,stuck is me
Too blind, too blind ,too blind to see that i mean YOU

Deaf, dumb and blind art thee
oh lord my god with thine all seeing eye
deaf as a doornail art thee

that's some deep stuff, you guys are truly talented or really messed up.

I regret to inform you that i have no talent in this department but that does not mean that i will not comment on the poems and give my opinion once in a while.

The fool and the liar

There was a fool there was a liar
They lived together in a place called Mire
for you see they were in a bind, a bind and a wire

This is the story of the fool,
a fool who thought all was cool
She told him how she loved him, she told him she cared
she told him how she'd never leave him,
no she wouldn't dare

Bliss was their union, bliss was her stare
he'd reach out to her knowing she would always be there
full faith in people , full faith is a risk
for faith is blind, for they come from behind
and slit your wrist

Her words filled his mind, like her perfume intoxicated his senses
all he wanted to hear she told him, knowing full well it was nonsense

for you see those cold lips so coolly said
he was naïve if he thought she ever cared
she was just young she was just a kid
she knew not what love was
now she grew up, yes she was big
and those “I love you.'s.. foolish man
did you not know when I kid?”

There he stands knowing not what he did
this liar stole his heart and returning its shreds
she laughs and walks off then...

And the fool lived alone in the Mire
for you see he was in a bind, a bind and a wire

Boredom in Shakespearean format.

Shallow shores hide not the pearls of the sea
And light penetrates even darkened deeps
Seeing us together now, you and me
Even if only in my pleasant dreams

But alas, such a future cannot hold
Distance does its injury, time does too
Your look, your glance, and your laughter is cold
It is almost as if you hardly knew

To the world you’re an oyster, tightly shut
A knife, the only way to crease your shell
But be careful; know that all blades can cut
Pain lets you live in this world for a tell;

In order to love one must know one’s pain;
Life, too short to be lived behind a pane.
