Re: survival
I was thinking actually of something I wrote for my second ex wife, arguably my favorite, at least if I frame it in the context I did at the time.
When I remember her, I recall evenings staring at the sky, in romantic embrace after a random evening of lovemaking, taking in the everything around me. I heard a Nickelback song today and it reminded me of her... where ever she is... I am sure she is just as beautiful and wonderful as the day I said goodbye. At least she is in my mind. I went to San Francisco looking for her.. and I found her. After that, I just prefer to recall the younger, vibrant days, like a pressed flower, I still recall her bloom.

Re: survival
Love is a quaint and funny thing.
“Let each morn be better than its eve and each morrow richer than its yesterday.” Bahá’u’lláh, Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 138 and "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." Samuel Butler |
