guys,
i working on a little song for a Instrumental Bass Album (Various Artists).
i can control the sound only with my headphones, maybe you can help me out with your fantastic multimedia 4D homecinema monsters.
sound it too harsh, or to much bass, highs, etc.
you can also put a critic on the hole peace, but stay gentle, i am a sensible artist.

So...... what's it need man? You could play bass for me any day, all day!

Sound wise it seemed fine, maybe it could use a little tweaking here or there but over all it's fine. Some of the busy pieces could use a touch less reverb, just to the point it doesn't get muddy but the verb needs to be there..... It can't sound like a different room through part of the song and I wouldn't change the reverb elsewhere, but it could be tightened up right around 1:25. Pulling back on the bass just a hair would accomplish the same thing but better to pull back the reverb I think.....

Artistically, Instead of the technique you use at 2:22 would be better off in a different song. I think you could blend int something more lyrical like " Traeumeland" (dream.mp3) and then come back to an outro that was similar to the intro of the original piece. Unless you have a time limit........

It's realy hard to adjust the reverb with headphones, i will try to pull it back.

that song was one flow, put the bass in hands 2 minutes later it was done. it is like cutting a picture, edit a new part on that stuff.
but maybe you are right, i have time til end of september.
