Find My Way / Alive

Just wanted to share 2 of my favorite songs by P.O.D. (Payable On Death). They may not be the best band out there, but i really like their music cuz it's very inspiring and uplifting, at least to me it is...
If u have never heard of P.O.D. or never heard either one of the following songs, feel free to PM me and we can figure out a way for you to hear the songs.

Find My Way Lyrics

I don't know how to let you go
I've given to you all of me, all that I'll ever be
We share the same heart and soul
I want you to believe in me
See through my eyes and you will know
I'll take my chance that you will come home to me
Even if it takes some time for you to work it out
I'll be there

[Chorus:]
I still got a ways to go
So far away from home
Inside I always knew
I would find my way to you [repeat]
Find my way...

If I could be everything you want
If I could change everything that I have done
Only you know where I have gone
I want to prove I am worthy to be called yours
I need you more that I ever have
And I don't want to stay, try and find me if you can
If I get lost along the way, please don't foget me
Know that I'll be there

[Chorus]

I'll be there [x4]
I'll be there [x4]

[Chorus]

I'll be there [x4]
I'll be there [x4]
I'll find my way to you...

Here is other favorite of mine....

Alive Lyrics

Everyday is a new day
I’m thankful for every breath I take
I won’t take it for granted
So I learn from my mistakes
It’s beyond my control, sometimes it’s best to let go
Whatever happens in this lifetime
So I trust in love
You have given me peace of mind
chorus:
I feel so alive for the very first time
I can’t deny you
I feel so alive
I feel so alive for the very first time
And I think I can fly

Sunshine upon my face
A new song for me to sing
Tell the world how I feel inside
Even though it might cost me everything
Now that I know this, so beyond, I can’t hold this
I can never turn my back away
Now that I’ve seen you
I can never look away

[chorus]

[bridge:]
Now that I know you (I could never turn my back away)
Now that I see you (I could never look away)
Now that I know you (I could never turn my back away)
Now that I see you (I believe no matter what they say)

[chorus x 2]

People like to bitch about P.O.D. being a 'Christian rock' band but they don't push that in their lyrical content. I think they're a great band; just saw them in concert back in March and they were incredible. The 3rd album was awesome too.

I fully agree. They don't push their beliefs in any of their albums. All they're doing is expressing their beliefs. I don't see any harm in doing that. So what if they believe in GOD and prefer to sing about him and uplifting stuff? I really like listening to their music especially during the bad times...

P.O.D. - Payable On Death

This song sums up my feelings for someone I was once close with.

As long as a "Christian" rock band doesn't go over the top with their message, or try to push their religion on the listener then I have no problems with in -- in this case P.O.D. The only reference to God within their lyrics is tasteful and not distracting in my opinion (and they are not present in a lot of songs) so it's not distracting from the music in general.
