interesting song lol, not a big fan of techno so i dont know what goes and what doesnt with it, but imho when you have that melody in, the keys clash horribly! lol

sorry for being blunt, but im use to it on the site i use, producers generally prefer honest remarks to "oooh woow thats great" even if it isnt.

doesnt sound too bad that, just that one thing that puts me off

you mean towards the middle, as the main lead just changes? that was the effect, needed some harshness there

ahh right, well your certainly getting there mate

could do with a bit of work on the perc, very generic, quality doesnt sound too great but thats probably down to wma format it was encoded in, but im sure you could think of a more interesting pattern

the bit that sounds horribly out of key is the lead that comes in at about 4:28, the first one is alright but the 2nd higher pitched one seems to do something on its own

if you want an example of doing something a bit more interesting with the perc have a listen to one of my tunes, its Trance so i hope you dont mind

the harder side of trance is normally my style

EDIT: i like that track, nice pads, works very well

btw i know my percussion is absolute ****, i just need to get some better samples, loops, maybe learn to program my own loops and arrange so it sounds better… something to work on over the next year (btw i've only been making music for a little more than a year or so, on and off in my spare time, no real professional training either)

been producing since about august last year, only done about 4-5 songs in that time but i always mess about recreating riffs etc from professional tunes.

One thing, though. My Hard Drive activity LED usually flashes to the beat of a song, but not yours. I don't think it likes it...

Oh yea, I got some stuff of my own that you might want to listen to. I have been making tracks (hahha) for about a year now, also, and have three "full" pieces. If you want to hear em, I can send em to you.
