This hatred that's inside
pushes through like the ocean tide
Never resting, always there
shows just how little you truly care

the burning fire rages within
you start to see me wearing thin
it burns my heart to see you there
I'll tell you once, be afraid, beware

It tears me up as you run from me.
through your sweat you dont see
that it's compassion that I need
to have a hope that I can succeed

people sure do look at your poems more when they're about a girl
