Another poem I wrote a while back. It's been revised though. I feel like sifting through my old stuff, i',m almost done with a new poem and short story, however I'm getting writers block, and nothing wants to come out of my head

I think this stuff is like...4 years old.

Life.

Torment
To live your life in hiding
To feel the hurt of never belonging
The anger of rejection
The fear of loneliness
The loss of love
Pain

Fear
Finding out you’re different
Feeling like you don’t belong
Fleeing the pain, yet running towards heartache
Following your heart yet
Fearing your true desires
Suffering

Anger
All the world hates you
Anyone is your enemy,
And love is a meaningless word
At no time feeling like a part of
Anything that fits
Loss

Love
Learning that you can fit in
Letting someone who
Loves you show you the way
Leaving the past behind you
Lacking the harmful bonds that once held you down
Healing

Belonging
Being part of something special and
Believing you can make a difference
Becoming beautiful to yourself again or at last
Bowing to no one, knowing it’s
Because you are equal
Acceptance

Growth
Giving yourself to the world so it may
Gain from your suffering and pain
Going out and fighting your fears, leaving them behind,
Gone, never to return
Getting stronger and more confident
Learning

Life.

I remember something just like that in some cowboy poetry I read once...very very good.
