Look Into My Eyes

Something i thought up a few mins ago while trying to study for a quiz.

Look into my eyes
And tell me what you see
Look long, deep and hard
And tell me what you find

Tell me you see
All the pain and hurt inside
Tell me you see
My humility and my pride

Tell me you see that innocent inner child
Alone and scared in the night
Longing to be held tightly
And told everything is going to be alright

Tell me you see that hideous beast
Lurking around deep inside
Anger is its name
And it’s ready for a fight

Tell me you see a tormented soul
Searching desperately for some peace
And if you listen very closely
You can even hear its silent screams

Tell me what else you see
In this fragile shell of a man
Tell me you see this shell
Slowly turning into sand

Tell me you see that man
Walking a lonely road
He quietly longs for the day
When someone comes along and eases his load

So please my friend I kindly ask
Please look into my eyes
And tell me what’s inside

hehe, well not much studying was taking place. i was listening to Deftones and browsing too...

I always find it easier to come up with ideas for things when I'm studying, because thats when my attention span is lowest
