Sepia Moon

Desert moon from a quiet sepia sky
sheds light upon the dead and dry

Raptors of the night must learn to fly
in unholy light the must eat or die

From my grave I wondered why....
buried here I have no tears to cry...

the breeze churns the sand and sings a song
and the Desret moon knew all along.
