Forgotten

Amidst the world you are one among countless.

Washed away in a sea of remorse which remains boundless?

Wounds run deep into the flesh with precise skill.

The poetic flame shadows this bending will.

Flowing ashes of amber burning bright;

Darkened rooms struggle to find light.

There the sinners lay baring inevitable fate.

Suffer their souls rotting in crates.

Necks twisting in pain, eyes covered and sewn;

Identities stripped, mercy made unknown.

No one really lives, but no on truly dies.

Eternally they stretch out for their own demise.

Forever lying conscious under the midnight sun.

Alone for all time; remaining one among none.

Yes if you would like me to post more than I would love the feeback. I have about 60+ pieces of work, three short stories, and a book I have been working on for about 4 years now! I will post anothter one. Thanks for the reply!

go for it...
this forum never really gets a great deal of attention, I will grant that, but I enjoy a good work of prose or wit or compelling writing, its a lost form IMO..
