Go back to sleep…

Within these dreams, walls of solitude are built.

Heaviness and oppressive is this massive guilt.

Surrounded by what one might call a home.

Here I sit in my misery, I am all alone.

In my dreams is the only place I can find a moments peace.

From the darkness which is my domicile I wish to be released.

Flower pedals scatter the ground with thoughtless care.

Endless my eyes are searching with a mindless stare.

Swallowed are the wills that bind a soul’s passion.

Eyes are sunken into the face looking ripe of ashen.

My mind has taken an exodus from the melancholy of this place.

Pushing me further into this abysmal persecution I must face.

Winding and twisting the tree branches break.

I never meant to hurt you, it was my mistake.

Forgive me, or forgive me not, you must choose.

Disguised behind this laughter, I attempt to confuse.

Know this before you go away from me and my fate.

Here in this purgatory I will sit and wait.

Locked and bound to me, memories of you I shall keep.

Lullabies of sadness are whispered…Go back to sleep…
