Hey K, it's very nice, maybe the text is too blended with the background. I'd like to see more contrast in general, but Jufo knows that's my problem

Anyway good work for a "newbie"

Now "to the max" text should go like the title and one final touch would be removing the inner emboss effect in the big "K" and adding your beloved electrical rays

I agree, the inner emboss is not necessary, but it is a style choice really..

Adding the lightning is a toughie, mainly because it can easily look out of place; I am experimenting as we speak; thanks for your suggestions guys

For instance:

Don't like it much tbh; any ideas?

Looks pretty good to me, i'd just move the lighting layer up, to melt it with the end of the big "K" and perhaps try a soft blue outter glow in the letter...

nah.. the lighting as it was... now it takes over the picture... but just give the K the same glow as the lightining... dont put the lightning more up...

GJ it was fun to se it progress through the posts, quite an improvement and it always help PS skills to try lots of different things and it has a nice out come congrats.
