3d Visualization apps.?

I was sitting at a Caffe/Restaurant/Bar yesterday night and saw that they were playing awesome visualizations with the music, there were 3d shapes and stuff and even dancing girls reacting to the music, i searched all over the net and didn't find any threads about what vis. apps. the clubs use.
I suppose that it's R4 or something similar but i can't find anything on the net.
Does anyone have a clue of what the prog could be?

Yeah, that's cool too thx, but the stuff at the club looked more professional, they also had this really cool white splash scene but most of it was in 3d, any other progs you know of?

Just look on the winamp site..if your good with math, you can program your own visualizations with apps such as whitecap and others...enjoy..BTW there are a few that are true 3-D meaning you can wear those read and blue glasses and have real 3D

there are professoinal visualization progs out there, i've seen 1 or 2 sites.. forgot where.....

one was like, live but you can pick out effects & objects on the fly too.. neat stuff

Some of the Visualizations for winamp must be licensed for home or business use as they can be used in a club..

Max3d, Swift3d, Flash, Imageready and there are tons more of apps that could be used there. How could you have searhed the entire net and missed all of those?

I know, just add some sound synchronosation software and you're done. (to the rendering software I already mentioned that is)

well can you perhaps point him in the direction of some sound syncing software, b/c I don't actually know of any [i'd be interested in trying it out myself, actually]
