Beautiful destruction (digi art)

A bit of work went into it, fairly happy with the result. It did its job and kept me occupied on Xmas eve anyway

Comments always welcome. Hope you all like it.

Theme - Well lots of ideas bring it together. When most people feel down they think really negative and little things can feel like the end of the world. When there is a storm people like to watch it and they say it helps them think.. So those ideas are linked. The title can be constructed from that but the beautiful was from the girl and the destruction from the skyscape.

Just being honest again.

Her cheeks are too puffy and her jaw is retracted a bit. A robe would be more suiting also for the picture. She also looks too cold for the art. I'd say a red or burgandy type of robe would do, or maybe something that really contrasts the window. That way sort of turning her into a frame for the view outside.

Just thoughts as always, hope they help.

Edit: Just checked the original picture and her facial structure is actually decent. I think you may have blurred too much.

I totaly agree with you about the face, it has gone out of proportion, i was blurring in the lighting and didnt realise they were merged it was too late to go back and when i tried to correct it i made it worse. I should have put in the stock nose again and started that bit over but i got lazy. I wanted her to be fairly blurred to give focus and definition to outside, which is why i was going to blur her face in i just made her chubby lol.

The robes a great idea i didnt think of that, i left her pretty much how she was to symbolise how people feel safe from harm in their homes (mostly) so what goes on outside she is going to see but not feel. However i think it would be a better image if i made it with your ideas! Thanks

Yea, no prob man. I like what you were goin for though I didn't realize it till you told me. Kinda knowin that draws me in a bit more and adds more depth to it. You've done a great job so far though, better than I could have done.

You should make a nude version with a blanket over her legs and fix that nose. Good work as it is though.
