Recently switched to max, after 6 months of not doing anything and 3 days of doing shit in maya

Everythings made out of primitives, and the same three bloody textures -_-

I'm on my last day of Work experience in the astrophysics department, doing 3d stuff with some guys.

Adjusted the lighting to be more awsomesauce:

However, some parts still seem dull and flat, and its at a different angle from the first shot =\

The lighting in the last two pics is quite strange. I think that the fluorescent tubes wouldn't cast such a round spots on the floor.
I'm doing some 3D too (started with Blender some time ago), so I know it's not easy, especially in the beginning

i gave 3dsmax a try and i absolutely hated the way everything is so complicated, and you have to go through like a trillion steps before you can actually change anything...

C4D FTW

Nice work though, i like the lighting (AND MORE TEXTURES PL0X...), just go out and take a billion photos of grass/walls/wood and you've got your textures (crop the best bits in photoshop or even paint first)
