Looking for the orginal photographer...

NEED TO FIND PHOTOGRAPHER!!

I was searching on google images way back and found this image. I really need to find the photographer to ask permission to use as photo referance. Please pass on to anyone that might know!

If anyone, anywhere, has seen this, could a link to the source be linked.

And sorry for asking here, but this site has a huge amount of people viewing it, and someone, anyone, may at some point have seen it before.

there is no embedded copyright information within the image, so im guessing it might be a royalty free image. if you are intending to use it for commercial purposes it might be a difficult thing to track, however if you are using it for non profit purposes im guessing you would be ok. If the copyright owner contacts you for hosting in some way just remove it.

Heres a little more information from what i gathered from my sister...

She was going around on google searching up various things...

found this image among a pile of others..... and saved them..

It's for a history book cover.... and would be mass produced, and sold.... so copyright or legal related garbage i would assume comes into affect....

If she ends up printing this..... well i'm sure everyone can put the peices together on what could happen.

Orginally the idea was to use the image and put in "Photograph curtesy of unknown" or something along those lines is what was discussed. But she doesn't like that idea.

And of course, today, doing the same search, she cannot find the orginal locaiton.

And to top it off, the image has been cut and pasted and modified within Photoshop so the orginal digital information pertaining to the image is likely lost in the transfers and modificaitons.

so its apparently from a book cover we don't know, and no one has any copyright information.

I am still sure it is fine to use in non commerical ventures.

It might be better to look on the net for royalty free photos, such as 123 Royalty Free - Stock Image and Photo Subscription. Only thing is that most times you still need to pay something for them, just that once you do you can use it as often as you like.

I just did a ton of searches on google to to end. I can't find that picture anywhere.

Would help to know the context of the original search, or at least what key words were used.
