I love Duxford, but these old planes will stop flying sometime in the near future because apparently they pollute the enviornment I am told. The nannys and tree huggers dont want them in the air over their homes I guess...too bad. But you can go for a spin in an old plane for a hefty price, but it is a hoot.

the fighters and bombers go up twice or even three times a year, for insurance purposes and at the pleasure of her majesty and her government, they have to have permission to do so. We just had a hurricane crash not too long ago that killed the pilot and created some anxiety among the nannies. The next even should be relatively soon but it has to get a lot warmer yet. Too bloody cold right now. Folks around here are complaining about the unseasonable cold this month...
Its all that Global Chilling they think...LOL
