I know that the ability to manufacture new parts and re-engineer the Sakae radial is possible, there are several flying examples, but this is a series 3 or 5 so it is rare. i have been watching the mechanics work on bits and pieces of this machine, possibly to just make a fascimile for display or even a flying sample. I have learned so much about the early fuel injection and combustion engines from these folks, As a friend of Duxford you can really walk around and see what these people do. It is unique and wonderful.
