the entire estate was given to the national trust some years ago, but the church didnt fall into the same arrangement, it was in fact sold I believe or willed to a member of the extended family, and as there were no clergy or parisioners to attend, surveyed and found to be unsafe for some reason so it was locked and signs posted.
