I have my teenie Lupo out for a spin towards Bury in Cambridgeshire and I nearly ran off one of the fen roads because of the wind and rain. On a convex road surface I could still see a layer of dancing water colliding with the surface and making it damn hard to drive on in the wind. I had to slow down to 40 mph just maintain a lane on the glassy surface of the asphalt.
But then, that is the challenge.
Now I know why the Lorries pull over on the fen roads during a violent wind and rain storm.
