So, you told me to get a Tripod, Ok... (56k? No)
I bought a tripod yesterday, £13 from Argos. I decided to take some photos outside my work to see if it helped to be able to keep the camera steady for long exposure shots, here are the results.

It would have resized too lol, thanks.
What is strange is how that car came across my shot 1 second into a 3 second exposure, the light trail was captured, but the car was not until right at the end, hence the weird effect. Thanks though ![]() Edit: Rehosted that pic here:

Nice. I love doing exposure shots personally because I always find it interesting how all the lighting, or lack there of, is captured

Are you using a timer? It looks like to me like there is a bit of movement of the camera.

On a few I forgot to set the timer, hence the camera wobbled as I pressed the shutter, the clearer ones were taken with a timer, I can't remember which were which now, but it should be obvious.

Re: So, you told me to get a Tripod, Ok... (56k? No)
Isn't there such a thing as a remote shutter release cable on these cameras, like on electromechanical 35mm film SLRs? That would be an ideal solution to the camera shake issue...
Great job on the nighttime street exposure where the car came through the shot - the street is really crisp!
