Re: Newmarket at Noon
Gorgeous shot of the sun fighting against the oncoming clouds!
![]() One thing though, and this isn't your fualt, but what's happened down on the ground? were there some purple flowers down there or did your image sensor go loopy? Can I also ask what ISO settings you've been using for your last few pics, as image noise is noticeable in most of them, not hugely bad but it exists.

Re: Newmarket at Noon
I was just thrashed by high winds that nearly knocked down my tripod and my bloody umbrella, I squeezed off lots of shots but this one I liked.

Re: Newmarket at Noon
Great shot, it looks almost unreal - like painting.

Re: Newmarket at Noon
Its East Anglia really this time of year, it was cold enough for some spitting ice and wind but nothing stuck to the ground, and off in the distance, clouds and fine weather near Duxford. I think the place where I live is rather mysterious and near many convergence lines, like Grimes Graves, and some Barrows etc, so I imagine a bronze age landscape with reeds, submerged flood plains and wooden causeways and hide boats, etc.
