Why thankyou Allan, I just purchased another Canon lense for landscape work and I am itching to try it as well this weekend.

sometimes, even in old blighty, there is enough light, through the rain and sleet, to take pictures of things I enjoy..LOL

Not only is that a great image... but that's a heck of a plane too!

that level of design reached it s zenith in the Hawker Hurricane, but it was a remarkably fast airplane for its day. Ironically, when that airplane reached operational status in the UK, the Russians already had a monoplane fighter in production as well.
The Gloster Gladiator was probably the last gasp for biplanes if you dont count the Fairey Swordfish attacks on the Bismarck, etc.
