thanx, not sure if this was the male counterpart to the other butterfly, but because it was much more attractive, I assumed it was female. it could even be asexual or a trans polinater.

these stinkers move about at a reckless pace and manage to avoid webs and robber flys but they are frequent visitors outside the summerhouse by the garden. If I am patient, they will pop in for a look, but fly away quicker than a fly off a cows nose. I have kept a saucer of sweet water nearby and they rest for a bit on the edge but fly away as quick as a feather in the breeze. But they are entertaining.
Life is precious, and now so close to half a centurty old, i have to admit I am not indestructable.
I wrecked a motorcylce two years ago, broke my shoulder one year ago, and this year I avoided being trampeled by an amorous bull.
Each time I said "I will never d this again",
Now I enjoy God's blessings and see the beauty in my garden now.
