yeah..
in the little picnic area of Gooderstone there is a sort of memorial place with different Poppies. I was having a devil of a time trying to take pics while under an umbrella and then suddenly we get a bit of sun so I ran out to get some. The colours were so vivid, and I didnt notice till I got home.

its beautiful and whats more, my maid will bring along her boyfriend who also has a Nikon D60 I sold him a year ago. He wants to take some flower pics and practice a bit. Gooderstone is in the pretty part of Norfolk so its a joy to drive there and avoid traffic.
I saw a king fisher today, but my pic was rather substandard as I had to hand hold it, as the viewing booth was crowded by people with spotting scopes. LOL
I shall endeavor to do better tomorrow, and without so much bloody rain.
