Depending on the composition of my saliva, I can fire my spit pretty far...

Jokes aside, those are nice pics. You have to have a camera to capture the blades in such detail considering the tips almost break the sound barrier.

One thing I don't like about the Spits themselves is the HSBC logo on them. It takes away from the whole WW2 feel (You need to have a blonde bombshell in a tiny red top and denim shorts as well, but that's a little inappropriate these days... Apparently). I know it wouldn't be possible to have them flying without the bank sponsoring it, but I still feel like they could've been a little more inconspicuous.

I have to agree about the logos on the planes, its bloody annoying to see it, even ona car or motorcycle unless it is tastefully done. These spits are only flying about 300 knots over the field so I can pan and capture wtih my burst mode dialed in. I was panning with a monopod but now I have a pistol grip I use with the camera to help keep it level and balanced on sweep and pan shots. .

thanx Allan, I know using high ISO gives me a bit noise so I try for a comprimise, I might have to get a big Bower and just use manual focus instead.
that was with my big Sigma lense.
