It is indeed, ln the friendly side and very little activity. Its harder to see choppers and planes at certain hours of morning and night so we can fly and out very quickly

Aye, we got photos like this when I went in for S'N'R Of course they looked like a football playbook transparency over them hehe

Afghan is a really weird country, one country will "like us" the next one hates us, and the next one is indifferent.

I never understood politics really, but the average person trying to survive in any country is no different that you or I.

Yeah man, I often have that thought, somewhere there's a guy just trying to find love, a job and be happy just as any american would. It's the leaders of our countries that need to understand that

Indeed, I dont speak the language, comprehend some of ther customs, but I understand that they think we are infidel invaders.

What helicopter were you up in Jeff? looks quite scary that, im not wonderful with heights have to say. I went up in that huge ass building in toronto (CNN Tower) with the glass floor and looked down, almost lost my lunch.

It is part of the initial rotation to gain altitude we keep making gentle turns going up in altitude and stay above the golden BB's. The Russians have the contract to fly us in and out of the FOBs and we take contract commercial out of the longer runways.

yes indeed, and fixed wing but all are virtually unmarked or white in appearance.
