Assorted Panoramas from Zambia (56K WARNING!)
I took these pictures with a crappy 4 year old camera, so the detail level isn't that great, but the Photomerge function worked great to stitch these images together. They are large and I apologize for that. Hopefully my PBWorks won't stop hosting these images because of traffic... They've done that once already.
I took this one when I went to the Victoria Falls. This is about 7 images stitched together. If I had a tripod, I could've taken less images, but I was doing it all by hand: ![]() At the Falls again, and this time it's a view from Dead Man's bridge which used to be a very very hazardous bridge until they fixed it up. This is of the bottom of the falls with some nice greenery in view: ![]() Last one for now. This is a panorama from a friend's river cruiser. We were going to go for a cruise but it was canceled due to cloudy weather:

Re: Assorted Panoramas from Zambia (56K WARNING!)
Great stuff.
Even with the railings the rocks look pretty damn slippery! I'm scared I might fall just looking at it. |

Re: Assorted Panoramas from Zambia (56K WARNING!)
It's actually pretty sturdy. The wood is embedded into concrete and rocks. The only reason I don't lean on them is because of the algae and moss.. It's rather disgusting. All of that was built no more than 6 years ago and the wood is very strong still. There are some paths that have no railing at all, That's where you gotta watch your step.

Re: Assorted Panoramas from Zambia (56K WARNING!)
Looking at the top rail to the right of the guy with the colored shirt...... Maybe it's a trick of the lighting but I'm seeing a thin piece of metal in the rock that's bolted, with one bolt, to the wood rail...... Me no like .....
anyways I'm not seeing where you stitched these together, kudos on the workmanship. You really do have a great artistic ability.

I'll post direct links here so you don't have to look at the image at full size. They look better when they are downsized anyway.

My home in Zambia:
http://krazyboi.pbworks.com/f/house%20panorama.jpg I don't have any more panoramas left, at least I don't think so, but if I find more, I'll be sure to post them. I have assorted pictures I took while there, but I shall make a separate topic for those.

Re: Assorted Panoramas from Zambia (56K WARNING!)
Forgot about these two:
http://krazyboi.pbworks.com/f/Untitled_Panorama3.jpg This is the most beautiful one I got.. Too bad the clouds were covering the sun at this point. Still looks amazing, but without the clouds, the sunset would've been extraordinary! http://krazyboi.pbworks.com/f/Untitled_Panorama2.jpg
