this morning I was fortunate enough to witness a quick balloon op and recover in my home town.

we have a local balloon club and I had the chance to watch them launch and recover them.
It was thrilling, as occasionally the dip and rise according to the air temperature, but also they draw a crowd.

its a hoot!!!

but a bit scary, even though your just floating, we have struck buildings, fences, high tension power lines, etc.
you can get killed rather easy just "forgetting to pay attention".
I prefer to just take pics and see the world, it was always a thrill.
