Bike climb

There is a steep climb coming up on the road. It's a good workout on my road bike. You can barely see the moon in the middle of the picture.

I'm really thinking about investing in a better camera. The pictures always come out blurry and full of chromatic aberation. I've got myself a Olympus FE-320 because I wanted something compact to take it with me anywhere and on my bike rides but I don't like the quality of pictures that I get. I also have roughly zero control on focus, ISO, aperture size and exposition time.

I'm planning a trip oversea for next year and it would be nice to be able to take some nice shots there.

I bought a new camera. It's a Panasonic DMC-LX3. It's the best small camera I could find. This camera is small enough to bring it with me on my road bike and this is what I did here. I took a picture roughly at the same place as I did with my previous camera. I bracketed exposure and took three shots then merged them with Hugin. The camera was handheld. The HDR effect is not too obvious because the bracket I used was not very large. The image quality improvement from my previous camera is obvious. I resized to 2560x1440 because I bought myself a Dell U2711 and this is my monitor native resolution. It makes a nice wallpaper.
