Photo nerds, I need your help! I am wanting to get a mid-level DSLR to A) learn on and B) be able to take great photos with. My budget is $700 (maybe $800) -- recommendations? The Canon T2i, Nikon D5100, and Pentax K-r all look decent, but I'd like some HH recommendations.

Canon 550D/600D (600 has a few features that you'll come into down the track, but essentially the same quality)
Nikon D5100

between those three I think you're set. Unfortunately for the Pentax, there's just not enough support or lenses available easily to upgrade down the track
