Canon EOS Photo5 Competition
Hey Guys,

Thought I'd post my entries to the Canon Photo5 Competition (might only be open to A/NZ residents, but the submissions are pretty awesome)

Brief 1: Through a pets eye


Our "indoor" only cat yearning for escape, waiting patiently for the door to be left open and unwatched.

Brief 2: Foam/Macro


I thought there was a little something missing, but a drop of raspberry cordial made all the difference. Reversed mounted my 50 1.8 to get a little closer, and this is the result.

Brief 3: Sequins/Low Light


Lego Disco

When I saw the sequins, and the "low-light" brief, it immediately reminded me of hobby, taking photos at nightclubs and parties. I this photo I tried to capture, on a smaller scale, the lighting, scene, and the sorts of things I see on the average night out. See if you can spot what I'm talking about.

Brief 5: Ribbon/Panning

For this brief I took my parents new boxer puppy to the beach, attached the ribbons to her harness, and let her run. Bad idea. Took me an hour to catch her. However in the meantime I managed to snap this shot of her in action.

Brief 4: Powder/Fast Shutter



Oops

Attempt # 50 or so at trying to get this to look decent. So we ended up just throwing sugar and coffee all over the place, and this one turned out to be the best. The original idea was to try to capture pouring a teaspoon each of coffee and sugar into the mug, but I wasn't too happy with how it looked.
