Some pics I took...finally

Decided to actually use the camera I have sitting around to take some closeups. I also have the original monsters if you guys want them. These pics are straight out of the camera and I haven't played with the manual mode yet. Hopefully they come out better next time. I'll post more if you guys want, hope you like them.

That must be a nice camera. The color and clarity is really good- Those are awesome pics. What was the original resolution on those?

Thx guys. The camera is a Nikon CoolPix 4300 and I think it's 4 megapixels. The originals are 2272x1704 and are nothing short of gigantic. I decided to get the camera after the shootout they had on PCWorld magazine where it beat out models costing more than twice the price

. Also all the plantlife is dying because of the shitty weather, but here's a quick sunset to end the day

Thanks alot!!! I never thought taking pictures could be this much fun; it's an excellent way to pass some time. I'm kinda getting into it, I was looking for insects for some extreme close ups but when I look for them I can't seem to find any lol. I'm really glad you like them though, means alot to me. Here's afew more you'll hopefully like

PS. I would love some ideas of things I can take pictures of. It seems I'm fixated on plants and now insects.
Well, I've tried the moon, but can't seem to get it right, that is a hard one for sure.
