It was funny Z...people kid me all the time about the vernaculer and the jargon of the sea, it often permeates my coversations. Every once in awhile I catch myself saying "aye, aye" instead of yes..
or "very well" when someone tells me something..lol
left standard rudder, manuevering speed, broadside and ropeyard sunday, took me along time to get rid of them. I am one of only a few medical men Surface Warfare Qualified on my old ship...
that and 50 cents might get me a cup of coffee...lol
