arrow Highly Recommended -- DIGIT Magazine

I have been purchasing this magazine in the USA now for a few years. It's published in the UK and I've often been very close to just subscribing to it. My main reason for NOT doing so is due to the two CDs that always accompany the magazine. I'm really afraid the CDs will get broken while being handled via the mail.

However, the value of what's on those CDs is more than enough to compensate for the counter price of $13.50.

I've been able to get some really nice programs totally free on those CDs. Examples: Aura 2, ParticleIllusion SE, and, in this most recent issue, Maya V5 Personal Learning Edition.

Inside the magazine are tutorials for these programs, articles that should be of interest to anyone who delves into graphic art and/or video editing. Quite often there are some really interesting articles about the background and programs used to create the cool computer special effects in the movies recently released. And, quite often there are previews of newer versions of your favorite program/s coming soon.

I HIGHLY Recommend this excellent magazine to any computer art enthusiast.

Maya is really cool, but WAY over my head. Photoshop is like MS Paint compared to Maya.

Nice find.. thanks for sharing.
