AHA... after first seeing the first image... and hearing of the name.. Bryce.... i've been searching for it high and low... anyone have ANY CLUE how hard this sucker is to find?

First off... i'd like to say... in comparison to Lightwave 3D... the Gui is much simpler... but a bit of a pain yet... Resolution wise... it's a big

Abilities wise.... well... it's up there.. but not nearly as good... however... after filding with it and finally getting used to the gui and how the controls work... i'm still learning...

First i made a simple 320x240 res image ..with a few shapes... rendered it ... then played with a few more shapes... and volumetrics.... then i started to work on some lightning.. which btw.. if anyone has figure it out... please tell me..... (if there is an built in set)..... i might have to create my own.. which should be interesting none the less...

Anyways... to post my INITIAL first rendered image...... it's simple... but still carries an effect..

[SIZE=x-large]NOTE: This is a preview image... 39% Fully Rendered... meaning the quality and sharpness INCLUDING effects... are just barely showing up[/SIZE]

No more waiting: a 1600x1200 res image....

I will start working on 1920x1440... but 1600 is just as large as i can go right now.... using a larger res image distorts EVERYTHING in the mapping... (if you not at a notch high resolution)

Also.. does anyone know how to convert the bryce file from one resolution to another?

Are whats required to render just like photoshop script files where you could compress it and send it to someone in a few KB RAR? I leave most of my computers on for days and days, and I would be able to fully render your (or anyone elses) images with a spare computer. (Unless the unrendered file is more than a meg, I dont want to chew though BW)

...actually... it's just about 2 hour into the render.. and thanks for the offer there craig... i also have a few computers that can chew through em.... I'm starting to just figure out bryce..... Tasty has a pile of knowledge with bryce.... but lately.. for about a month or 2.... i've been kicking myself.. as my Milkdrop hasn't been working worth anything.. due to a few problems.. with the 3D rendering....... (neon knows of it..)...... But boy.... for this kind of image... it's just extremely simple.... a mountain.... a little bit of fog circling the top.... all covered in ice.... at midnight... (i just can't wait to see the results of the full ice reflections... almost looks real from my end.. (without the JPEG compession) plus... at 54%.... it looks even better..... Thanks for your input guys.... i'm sure to start producing some work along side Jeff Fallang.... who is also doing some stuff i haven't even touched at... most amazing.... CHEERS!...
