Default Post What does your desktop look like? Caution 56K users...

Sooo How creative are some of you styleXP users? Or just how do you view your desktop? I'll start...

The Goods

The Goods Exposed!

Some info was erased in the my computer screen for obvious reasons.
Now all I need is some more RAM! Oh yea, How do I change my image size so it doesnt take up soo much space in this thread?

Well, not quite an XP desktop, but...

ENTERPRISE desktop (informative)

License number & username account erased for confidentiality reasons. I don't believe in overloading my desktop with icons...

hey Zar, how do you get your stats on your desktop?
Forgive me if the answer is obvious. I'm using DH XP utility, but I kinda wish I could see the stuff all the time without taskbar and desktop space being eaten up. One more thing, how come you people seem to do without the taskbar, doesn't it drive you nuts? Always did for me. Alt-tab to your hearts content though.

Edit: I guess wyre's the only one without a taskbar, but hey who's counting? (clearly not me)

that is a tool called coolmon which is used in conjunction with motherboard monitor 5 to get the readings etc.... its pretty handy sometimes, but its not totally solid, still a few bugs to iron out on that yet.

for those interested ... I am using trillian pro with dark bevel skin mod, winamp 3 with shadowness skin. Windows XP pro with some custom settings on "silver scheme" colouring (mainly altering the horrible white default colouring on menus to a more eye pleasing metallic grey). and a heavily customised "Dragstrip" for the small iconing/panelling.....
