OEM Express (PC Parts Website - WIP)

Here's one of my many works-in-progress. Would appreciate any feedback you guys might have on it because in the end, it's people like you that will be using it.
If you were navigating this website, how would it feel to you? Is it lacking color and are they pleasing? Would you prefer the interface to be in red instead of blue? Does it fit into your browser window well? Etc, etc.

Should work with both IE and Firefox, although I have the Search box to fix with Firefox and a few other things with IE. Should be W3C compliant in HTML and CSS.

Upcoming Features:

Items on the Page will be sorted by the item's manufacturer therefore making it possible to have a quick-nav menu on top.
Right-side menu is not done yet.

its very slick...I like a departure from the vanilla and blue sites out there, the metallic effects are very sophisticated from my own limited experience....its good.

I think it looks great - clean and easy to read. The look is classy too - professional. I like the thin border around the search box that sets it out from the backround graphic.

About the only thing I could suggest to change would be the font, but not being versed in graphics production or print production I don't know what font to suggest though. The jaggies apparent in the lettering detract a little from the really clean design of the page, to me...

I agree about the fonts, something needs to change with the fonts. I also think it might get confusing to people with the listing "Price" and "Cash/Debit Price". I would maybe say "list price" and "our price". Other than that, it looks good.

That's actually the way they have it on their current site. They lower their price if you pay with Cash or by Debit instead of credit.

Hey Daedel, May 6th is coming up fast, do you have any ideas to celebrate or contribute to DH? I have a little poetry and some photography but I have painted myself into a creative corner...helpppppp.
