That reminds me of alberta and saskatchewan, only the grass is thicker.

I have to agree, the plains seem to extend from Canada to almost the middle of Colorado, those areas that were once an inland sea 60 million years ago..

thanx, I have more but I find the must mundane things that we see in our lives tend to be overlooked, I am going deep into the desert this weekend to see some other terrains and photograph them....
Nevada is mysterious and haunted, and spirits walk the steaming volcanic terraces, spectors of a time long ago when this whole area was covered with a great lake, and indians made magic on its shores, now it is desert and scrub.....fascninating..
