Well this is my first attempt at a sig. It's pretty simple I know and blue too

I sorta like it for a first attempt. Any advice from the experts?

pretty good, and a good colour choice as well...for a while there I thought everyone was hooked on solids and greens...ugggh

if you used settings to make the border 3d then take a small solid brush as an eraser 1px or maybe 2px and cut little details out to make it more tech.

use more brushes over the actual sig part make a layer and brush only parts then set that to soft light \ overlay then make another and do the same. do that with white\light brushs as well as black\dark brushs.

Use a colour balance to colour it not a hue\saturate (if you didn't already) to give it a little more colour and depth.

Well thats my advise for now bud, let me see how you get on with sig#2

i'm still at a loss on how to make borders like that in pshop - i use illustrator for 2d stuff like that

I have used bevels from layer styles...or effects....I just draw a perimeter around the first layer.

Okie doke, upon taking Danjufo "list" of suggestions I redid my sig. Here's the result...

. Maybe the next thing you should do is make the text stand out a little bit more. It's kinda hidden in the image a bit there.

not a whole lot better. I see the K better than any of the other letters, but that is more so because it is a light color as opposed to the background directly behind the K. The other letters kinda blend in to the background directly behind them.
