Creepy Visitor

This little fellow paid both my mom and my myself a visit a few wks ago. Somehow it got into the house, although all the doors and windows were locked. We think it may have gotten through the furnance and then slid through the bottom of the basement door. Luckily I was down stairs on my mom's pc in the dark when it flew by. Of course I was appointed "Head Remover & Exterminator" since my mom are scared of bats

Half of it is missing, so I'm guessing that they did kill it :P And damn, this thing is disgusting...

Well it was alive when I took that pic. Part of the wing is tucked under the body, plus the angle I took the pic. But yeah, I had to kill it, because my mom didn't want to take the chance of it coming back inside. It does looks sorta cute.... I think

A bat got in my sister's house a few months ago.. She has 4 kids.. Her Husband killed the bat but the brains got too smashed for testing so they all had to get rabies shots. They had to do it as a precaution. It was a pretty miserable experience for them all.

They weren't sure, that was the problem.. It was at night and they were sleeping, and two of the kids had marks.. Then when John , her husband, killed it, blood went everywhere. So they had no choice but to take the precaution (after talking to the authorities) to get the shots.. It was pretty bad, 3 girls and baby boy.. all getting shots at the same time.
