what, stitch photos together? I used a small program that came with the camera called Canon Photostitch. It's not very advanced though and doesn't always give a good result. I should look into doing this with Photoshop, it's probably better. Thanks for the tip Falstaff!
I used Photoshop to add the simple border and smooth out the seam that was kinda visible after stitching.

Thanks Vikinggod!

Well thanks, but I really wanted to know how you took the pics. Did you choose a certain landmark to do one side and then the other? Sorry if I'm not clear, my brain seemed to have run off somewhere today Btw, i'd like to see the originals before you joined them, if possible please

Ah, no I just see a nice landscape that would make a nice panorama and start taking pictures from one side to the other. Take a photo at one edge, stand still and rotate the camera slightly until something that appeared at one edge of the previous photo is now at the other edge of the next one. err.. hope you understood that! You need some overlap for stitching. Try to keep the camera at the same level, don't move it up or down or rotate it (vertically). Obviously it's much easier with a tripod... You can also make vertical montages.
I'm not sure I have the originals, once a put a panorama together I usually dump them, but I'll look. I probably have some other examples I could use instead, but it'll have to be later... it's saturday night and I have a life!

Yes Jeff, a granite bluff. See here. But not from the top, the bottom is still a little above the forest.
