Canada Vacation
Just some pictures i thought were cool/came out good, from my trip to canada:
This was at the Toronto science center, can you spot the funny? I could fit my fist in an artery CN Tower took me like 5 mins to work up the corage to stand on the glass. And from the bottom This was near the CN tower Some small relativly unknown waterfall between canada and US, Made famous in Superman 2, When lois jumped in to try to prove clark was superman, her efforts were futile, clark used his heat vision to cause a branch to fall in the water which lois grabbed onto and floated into a mini "cove" if you will, a couple hours later though clark tripped in the hotel room and his hand went into the fire only to come out unscathed. Only "artistic" shot Pretty unimpressive croc but it made a good photo Tree kangaroo Saddest monkey ever ![]() Thats it for now the rest are pretty out of focus or are just shots of random animals at the toronto zoo. |

Toronto was relativly close 9-11hr drive, alberta and saskatchewan are a bit too far to drive and honestly if i gotta fly id go somewhere down south.

I know of alot of people from BC that have come out here and just love how they can see for miles on end, with not nearly as much trees and not as hard harsh rough edges ![]() it's good to be deverse... i love BC.... Alberta is just as excellent.. and saskatchewan is just bloody sweet .. (unless you drive... roads are terrible) Want hot.. sunny weather? Saskatchewan is your oasis... tons of beaches that span for miles on end and fresh water to swim in.

Nice pics! I've also stood on that glass floor, I actually jumped on it with all my might! People thought I was nuts but come on, they build these things with a safety factor!
As for Sask vs BC, please there's no contest! Majestic mountains, glaciers, fjords vs a flat wheat field as far as the eye can see! At least Alberta's on the edge of the mountains. Poor Manitoba...

So what natural wonders can one "stair" at in Sask? Lakes? We've all got them... They look more impressive with reflected mountains, and surrounded by giant redwoods. Quote:

What about Montreal? Did anyone of you go there?
As you can see, I'm from Brazil, but I plan to go to Canada someday (Quebec province). And yes. I'm even studying french.

If you do go to Montreal though, I'd go during the "Just for Laughs" festival.

nice pics. if you were at niagara falls, you should have swung by 'Niagara By The Lake' which is one of the most picturesque towns in Canada.
I'm a 3rd generation Torontonian, there's lots to see and photograph here but you have to look for it. A world famous photoblog, 'daily dose of imagery', is based mainly on Toronto pics if you want to see some interesting stuff. http://wvs.topleftpixel.com/ PS If you get several hours north of Toronto, we have some really nice highlands in the Canadian Shield. Algonquin Park has some nice vistas, but Kilarney Provincial Park is truly gorgeous, especially in the fall. PPS Banff National Park, especially after late September, after tourist season but before ski season, is the best we have to offer. The closest I've come to a religious experience.

My heart was pounding just looking at the picture of the glass on the CN tower
![]() I NEVER would have stood on that, regardless of how safe they claim it to be

Did they say how much that glass floor holds? I wonder how many people it would take to break it?
