AKASA Freedom Power 1000W PSU @ DH

AKASA Freedom Power 1000W Review
_________________________________

Akasa have released a very large number of PSUs during the past few months, taking a piece of the pie from every market category. We have also received a large number of their PSUs to review, ranging from low-priced products aiming for the best possible value to efficient and silent mid-range PSUs to expensive enthusiast-oriented units featuring a monstrous output.

Today we will have a look at their latest release, the Freedom Power 1000W unit. The Freedom Power series products are modular units designed to provide high performance and output, and therefore appeal to hardcore enthusiasts and modders who wouldn't like to compromise performance over aesthetics. Today we will see if it can compete with some of the other high quality offerings in this sector.

I like the all black look on the other hand, so it's not a con for everyone.

The 3.3V seems to be pretty rocksolid at 3.45, but at 4.5% high, that's skimming close to the edge of specification - unless that is a remote sensing boost being applied.
